What people say about us
I’m a freelancer and my case involved transitioning from expat insurance to full private health insurance. With Katharina’s help, the process was not only smooth but also stress-free.
She was very knowledgeable and worked very quickly. I received all the information I needed and more.
An invaluable resource for navigating Germany’s complex health insurance system. Anja Lampert was exceptionally helpful and incredibly patient.
All meetings and communications took place in English, hence an expat with limited German language skills can understand the process and available products/portfolios.
Professional, friendly and informative. Definitely recommend them especially if you're an expat like me and you have no idea about the insurance procedure in Germany. Will walk you through the process and provide feedback in fluent English.

Your options when your premium goes up
Switch tariff with your insurer
You have the right to move to another tariff of your insurer with equal or lower benefits, keeping your age reserves (§ 204 VVG).
Change your deductible
A higher deductible can lower the premium.
Move to another insurer
You can cancel within two months of receiving the letter. You must show proof of new cover, so never cancel before your new insurance is confirmed (§ 205 VVG).
Going back to public insurance
Only possible in certain cases and depends on your age and income. Ask your advisor before you act.
